Horizon-Based Ambient Occlusion (HBAO)


HBAO

Ambient occlusion is defined as the soft shadow generated by a sphere light of uniform intensity surrounding the scene. HBAO is the modified form of SSAO which is done by using spherical coordinate system with the zenith axis aligned in the view direction.
